Getting Started with BlackTide

BlackTide is a comprehensive monitoring platform designed for both traditional web services and Web3 infrastructure.

What is BlackTide?

BlackTide provides real-time uptime monitoring, status pages, and incident management. Unlike traditional tools, we natively understand blockchain nodes, RPC endpoints, and decentralized applications.

Creating an Account

1. Visit the Sign Up page.
2. Enter your email and a secure password.
3. Verify your email address via the link sent to your inbox.
4. Follow the onboarding wizard to create your first Team.

Dashboard Tour

Upon logging in, you'll see the main Dashboard. Here's what you'll find:

• Monitors Grid: A real-time view of all your services.
• Incidents: Quick access to active and recent incidents.
• Response Time Chart: Global latency metrics across all your endpoints.

Your First Steps

1. Create a Monitor

Navigate to Monitors and click New Monitor. You can choose between HTTP, TCP, Ping, or Web3 (RPC/Node) monitors.

2. Create a Status Page

Go to Status Pages to create a public communication channel for your users. Select which monitors to display and customize the branding.
